Brief introduction:

Uterine fibroids are benign tumors formed by hyperplasia of uterine smooth muscle tissue and are the most common benign tumors in women. The incidence of uterine fibroids is difficult to calculate accurately, with estimates of up to 25 per cent in women of child-bearing age and more than 50 per cent based on autopsy. At present, there is no consensus or guideline about the diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids in China.
