Expert consensus on the rational use of aerosol inhalation therapy (2019 edition)

Brief introduction:

Atomization inhalation is a direct drug delivery method with respiratory tract and lung as the target organs. It has the advantages of fast effect, high local drug concentration, less drug dosage, convenient application, and fewer systemic adverse reactions. It has been used as an important treatment method for respiratory system related diseases. However, the non-standard use of atomization inhalation therapy will not only directly affect the treatment effect, but also may bring safety risks and threaten the life and health of patients. In order to further promote the rational application of atomized inhaled drugs in clinical practice and maintain the health of patients, the Chinese medical association of clinical pharmacy worked with famous experts in the field of pharmacy in China and combined with the medical and health practice in China to formulate the consensus of experts on the rational use of atomized inhaled drugs in China. This consensus can provide reference for medical workers at all levels to carry out standard atomization inhalation therapy.
